Stationary Diesel engine, 4-cylinder 4-stroke, commonly used in factories and workshops to drive operating machines, pumps or electric generators, up to the first half of the XX century. It was produced by the Oreglia Company in Piacenza, an Italian engine manufacturer at the beginning of the last century, This engine is one of the very few surviving specimen of this company and, probably, the only one displayed in a public museum. This exemplar, courtesy of the Technical High School Vittorio Emanuele III of Palermo, has been fully restored at the workshop of the Museum in 2012.
