Description

The 1.7 16V boxer engine, with electronically controlled injection, is the latest evolution of the Alfa Romeo boxer engine, originally designed and manufactured since the mid-1960s. From 1990 to 1994 it was used in the sportier versions of the Alfa Romeo 33 and later, from 1994 to 1996, in some versions of the Alfa Romeo 145 and 146, with a new the electronic control system.
